Cyberjaya(22 Nov 2009) - On 27 may 2009, a youngster created a blog called mybuku55.blogspot.com. The blog is intended for a group of friends to share some "useful" information a.k.a TO HAVE SOME FUN. The blog was a heat when it just launch, with highest 241 visits in a week and accumulating highest 3,580 page views in a month. What happened now is that the blog is dying like a flower blossomed during the summer and withered during the autumn.

Website are blooming rapidly in this Internet era but to survive, it needs lots of hard works from the management team. With online community sites like Facebook, MySpace and Friendster, a blog for friends communication is far comparable. BUT, as the user get use to the online comunnity site's features, who would look back to just a blog? It is the main factor of small scale website to die as the can't compete in delivering rich content and useful features such as "Spam-the-comment-box-when-you-are-tagged-in-a-picture".

Within 4 days after creation of mybuku555.blogspot.com, site webmaster purchased the domain, buku555.com in order to let his friends to easily to remember the blog URL address. Instead of utilizing the 2nd level domain name. The blog resides in my.buku555.com. The idea of doing so is hoping to integrate some features on the main site.

As time goes by, as features are yet to be seen available. There only left 36 visits to the site from 15 Nov 2009 - 21 Nov 2009. A terrible figures which happens in just short 5 months. During an interview session with the webmaster which known as Hungry_Wolf (24 yrs old), he mentioned that, "When you are introduce to a new thing, it gives u an impact. If that things can gives you benefit (FUN), it sure has lots of site visits. It just like a new toilet when just open for use, it smells good and after sometime, without maintenance, you won't go back there anymore.". Another interesting part which he added is, "If you use a toilet, you flush, you pro-long the usability. If you don't flush, it soon full of shits. What I'm saying is, if the site users provide some feedbacks (flush the toilet) rather than keep silence (didn't flush the toilet), at least the webmaster know where to improve."

Hungry_Wolf is currently maintaining few sites and he stated that to makes a website success is to have a good management team. "No matter how good is your web site developed and designed, if without a good management team. It soon will fail." mentioned by Hungry_Wolf. Before we end up the interview, he was delivering a good news to the site users, "The key to bring back the heat to my.buku555.com is to get help from his friend who are going to graduate soon in bout a month time. They are both of them which studying Multimedia Management. Hopefully these 2 friends that graduated from a well know local university do have good ideas on taking the site to another highest level."

After we finished the interview, we have a look at the site's Google Analytics report.
